UAE weather: Light to moderate rains in some areas; temperatures to drop

Residents across some parts of the UAE woke up to light rainfall, after a forecast of expected showers during the daytime by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather today is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy day across the UAE. There is also a probability of further decrease in temperature in the country.

The Met issued a yellow alert for rough sea in the Oman Sea, with wave height reaching 6 ft offshore from 3am on Thursday until 3am on Friday.

Fresh winds are expected to reach 40 km/hr.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to be mostly cloudy on Thursday, with the capital experiencing a maximum temperature of 32°C and minimum of 23°C while the latter likely to have a maximum and minimum temperature of 31°C and 25°C, respectively.
