Bomb threat sent to Kerala Chief Minister Office, Cliff House

A bomb threat was sent to the Kerala Chief Minister Office on Monday, as per a statement by the CMO to ANI.

The threat was also sent to the Cliff House which is the official residence of the Cheif Minister.

A bomb squad is currently conducting a search on the premises, as per the statement.

This comes a day after a bomb threat was received at Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. On the day prior to that, a series of emails were sent to hotels across the city.

As per local media, police teams carried out inspections at these locations, along with bomb squads, but didn’t find anything that could cause harm. Authorities confirmed that the threats were all hoaxes.

Authorities have urged the public stay calm amid investigations, as per local media outlets. Security protocols are being carried out across the capital after the rise of such emails and threats in the recent months.
